Event Photography for the Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium (PERC) Job Fair
Every year, the Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium (PERC) hosts one of the most well-respected teacher recruitment events in the country. The annual PERC Education Job Fair brings together hundreds of aspiring educators and more than 200 employers from 25 states and several international organizations, all in one place with the shared goal of connecting talented candidates with careers in education.
This year, I was hired to photograph the event and document the experience for the organization’s marketing and communications. The photos from the event are used throughout the year for website content, promotional materials, and marketing for future job fairs.

My goal as an event photographer is to capture the atmosphere of the event in a way that tells the story of what it’s like to attend. This includes:

This was actually the second year I’ve photographed the PERC Education Job Fair, which is always rewarding. Returning clients allow me to build a deeper understanding of the event and anticipate the key moments that matter most to the organizers.
